Una ciudad fotografiada: comparando imagen cotidiana e imagen turística en Fortaleza (Brasil) a partir de Instagram

Resumen

El análisis de las representaciones, eso es, de la subjetividad con la que las personas muestran un espacio, aporta una información muy valiosa para conocer los distintos vínculos que los individuos establecen con su entorno. Ahora bien, cada grupo tiende a aportar una imagen distinta. El presente artículo se centra en analizar coincidencias y divergencias en las representaciones espaciales de las imágenes cotidianas y las de los turistas. Para ello se analizan las imágenes colgadas en Instagram por habitantes y turistas de la ciudad de Fortaleza (Brasil). Los resultados muestran, en líneas generales, divergencias entre los espacios y los usos representados por ambos colectivos lo que permite mostrar cómo una ciudad tiende a cristalizar en situaciones, producciones o figuras particulares referenciadas a las actividades cotidianas o turísticas que allí transcurre. Un aspecto que puede ayudar a gestionar una ciudad adaptada a habitantes y turistas.
