Abstract
Although in the film the name of the town where the story takes place is never named or identified, most of the filming took place in Manresa, except for the final scene, shot in Barcelona. The image depicting the Christmas cavalcade going through the city, is localized in the Plana de l'Om. After the 60 years since the filming, the buildings we can see are the same as those existing in the area today. Worthy of note, however, is the state of the conservation of the building in the center of the image, notably rundown in 1961, and the changes that have taken place since then in the stores and profesional activities. Thus, Doctor Oromí Pujol's clinic, specializing in syphilis and dermatology, is today an outlet. And the appliance store advertising Philips and Kelvinator has become a clothing store (Zebra). The pavement has also undergone a clear transformation, and the large lamppost seen on the left has disappeared.
