Abstract

In the image there is a tractor plowing a lavender plot on the extensive Castilian grasslands. Mechanization eases farming tasks related to the farming of lavender, and increases the production in the last years. This primary activity has a high demand in the pharmaceutical sector and in herbal medicine, but it also generates new touristic offers, with lavender routes for visitors and tourists.
